0);">校庄太平庵在庄东首，占地面积不到三亩，大门头临河朝南，一尊弥佗菩萨面朝里。后进大殿，东西厢房。紧靠大殿西侧一间禅房。据庄上几位老寿星回忆，太平庵民国五年（1917）当家和尚申长根主持翻拆重建，1946年被拆部分，解放后曾一度做学校，后砖头瓦等材料又被运到另处建学校。2001年校庄成立庙会，会长徐广元主持（2005年）又重建现在的太平庵。<o:p></o:p></span></section><section style="text-indent: 0em;margin-bottom: 8px;line-height: 2em;"><span style="font-family: 宋体;font-size: 17px;color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> 在乡村寺庙中，校庄太平庵不算大，但很古老。大约建于明朝中期，距今不到五百年历史。虽见不到当年的一砖一瓦或画梁雕柱，但有传说考证。太平庵建于公牛地，保佑校庄一代出一武士。明朝出了第一个大力士校秀。武士能保庄护民，但因打打杀杀结仇，也会使庄民遭难。校秀出于永保一庄平安，他问当家和尚公牛地牛屁股的位置在哪，和尚说正是此庵。校秀想用骟猪子的方法一样，把公牛的两个卵蛋子挖出来，再也不会出武士了。校秀挖了几天几夜，终于挖出像两个腰鼓一样的石鼓，从此公牛变母牛了。八十岁向上的人如校如富，小时候都看到石鼓，可惜没有收藏，可能埋到河沟里了。尽管传说，但传说的源头可证明庙史。<o:p></o:p></span></section><p style="text-indent: 0em;line-height: 2em;margin-bottom: 0px;"><span style="font-family: 宋体;font-size: 17px;color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"> 现在说说太平庵里发生的庙事活动。校庄的太平庵与泰兴颜檀高岸庄的太平庵为兄弟庵 。现在人能追忆太平庵的第一个当家和尚叫申龙元，之后申长根，高岸庄人，俗姓王。带徒七岁申脱埃（泰州西仓人，俗姓李）。长根和尚当家期间翻建新庙，在正殿落成上梁时，当夜发病命归西，又到高岸庄请来申兴生和尚来当家。脱埃小和尚聪明但调皮，兴生和尚文水高但教育方式粗暴，经常打十二岁的小和尚。脱埃终于受不了打骂，不辞而别到了镇江金山寺。1956年，庄人头头校继善又把金山寺上的脱埃请回太平庵。年近四十岁，算最后一个和尚。原来庙产三十多亩，重新回庵的脱埃只有靠做佛事营生。庄上的王福太帮他烧饭打杂。金山寺上修炼过的脱埃经文熟透，当地农民亡人六七或超度亡人都请他做佛事，住正台。脱埃本来眉目清秀，穿上红色金纹的袈裟活像唐僧转世。当地农民相信脱埃本人经书滚瓜烂熟，脱埃同时要求和他同台的和尚照经本念经，没有一人滥竽充数，全念的一字不漏的真经，亡人得到纸钱，所以请脱埃做佛事必须预约，来去接送。文革中脱埃挨斗，游街扫地，但次数不多，相当于像征性的，老百姓对他没有怨声。脱埃有几箱经书，碑帖，十四套袈裟。住正台的袈裟一套值十二担稻。文革中破四旧，脱埃担惊受怕，一夜流泪付之一炬，一老百姓校锦米劝他留一套袈裟或几本经书，脱埃没有这个斗胆。脱埃大约死于1988年，终年79岁，算到今年约112岁。现在太平庵老禅房内仍有脱埃和尚的遗像。</span></p><p
